Kellett Headed To Wolf Pack

Nevada Wolf Pack (Reno, Nevada) men’s golf coach Jacob Wilner has announced the signing of transfer Cam Kellett, who will join the program in the fall of 2019.

“We are excited to sign a player of Cam’s talent level,” said Wilner. “He had a great summer and successful first semester at the Division II level. He will be a great addition to our program next fall.”

Kellett joins the Wolf Pack after transferring from NCAA Division II Young Harris College in Young Harris, Ga. where he completed his freshman fall season. In four events and 11 rounds played last fall, Kellett compiled a scoring average of 70.1, which set the freshman record at Young Harris. He recorded four top 10 finishes in his four events played, including a runner-up finish at the UNG Fall Invitational where he shot a season-low round of 66.

A native of London, Ontario, Kellett attended Saint Thomas Aquinas where he was a dual sport athlete in golf and hockey. He helped his team to a city golf championship in 2017 after winning the individual title as well. He was named his team’s MVP in both 2016 and 2017.¬†Kellett captured the 2018 Ontario Men’s Match Play Championship.

Kellett, a member of St. Thomas G&CC in Union and London’s Highland CC, is completing his career with the Young Harris Mountain Lions, who compete at the Tennessee River Rumble April 1-2, and then at the Peach Belt Conference Championship April 19-21.

Kellett works with golf coach Brian Gallant of Performance Golf London and the London Junior Golf Development Centre.
