Falcons Earn Hardware

Fanshawe Falcons golfers received hardware at the college’s annual athletics awards banquet Friday night.

The Falcons’ overall Rookie of the Year is Alyssa Stoddart, 20, of Orangeville, Ont. who claimed OCAA individual gold, and team gold with teammate Mery Tarigan.

At CCAAs, Stoddart won bronze – Fanshawe’s first national golf medal.

Stoddart was also named Fanshawe golf Female MVP and Female Rookie of the Year

Braydon White is the Falcons’ golf Male MVP. The second-year student from Barrie captured OCAA individual gold – the school’s first in 43 years.

And former Junior Tyson Tour Les Thomas Memorial Tournament winner Colin Warren of Highland Country Club was named Male Rookie of the Year.
