Maple Leaf Mini Tour Hits Merry-Hill Golf Club

MJT Ontario Mini Tour Circuit for 12U golfers tees off at Merry-Hill Golf Club this weekend

Breslau, ON – (May 14, 2019) – The Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour’s MJT Mini Tour Series in Ontario for players aged 12 and under tees off May 18 at Merry-Hill Golf Club in Breslau, and late entries are being accepted on the MJT website.  Entry fees cover 18 holes of tournament golf in six age divisions, tee gifts, an impressive array of prizes, and refreshments.

The young golfers also have the chance to qualify for the IMG Academy Junior World Championship held in San Diego, CA, the US Kids Golf World Championship held in Pinehurst, NC, and the Future Champions Golf Callaway World Junior Championship in Palm Desert, CA.

Following the Merry-Hill tournament, the next stops in the province on the 2019 MJT Mini Tour are June 23 at Victoria Park Valley Golf Club in Puslinch; July 6 at Orangeville Golf Club in Orangeville; August 3 at Beaverdale Golf Club in Cambridge; and September 21 at Whispering Ridge Golf Club in Brooklin. The non-profit Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour presented by Boston Pizza is Canada’s number one-played Junior Golf Tour as well as the only national junior tour run exclusively by PGA of Canada Professionals and the ‘Road to College Golf’ in Canada.
