Richmond Hill, Ont. (November 22, 2011) The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) in partnership with PUMA Golf is proud to announce the names of the four juniors who have been selected as members of the 2011 Team PUMA.
Selena Costabile, 13, of Thornhill, Ont., Brandon Gauthier, 15, of Laval, Que., Richard Manocchio, 15, of Toronto, Ont., and Peter Skynner, 16, of Oakville, Ont. were all named to the squad.
Juniors were required to submit a video application highlighting their own golf style, musical interests, and why they were a good fit for the team. These four junior golfers will be outfitted head to toe in the newest PUMA Golf product and recognized on the CJGA website as a member of Team PUMA 2011.
Below, is a brief excerpt from each of the winning contestants:
Selena Costabile – “This is my first year competing in tournaments, and I won five events, including the PUMA Challenge in Toronto.” “It is important to have confidence before every swing, and that is what drives me to win.”
Brandon Gauthier – “Golf is my passion; it is literally all I think about”. “Fair, honest, positive, and creative are the four keys of staying true to the PUMA vision”.
Richard Manocchio – “I would classify my golf style as smart”. “My favorite player on Tour is Rickie Fowler because he is a bomber like me.”
Peter Skynner – “I have a unique fashion sense.” “I have a confident golf style, a successful golf game, and when I look better, I feel better, I play better”
