| London's Alan McLean and Andrew Parr have advanced to the European Tour's second stage Q tournament Dec. 2-5 in Spain. McLean will play in next week's Dunhill Cup at St. Andrew's . . . Forest City Fairways with host Jeffrey Reed, publisher and editor of London Ontario Golf, continues to run this fall on Rogers TV London. He tees off at 4:22 a.m. EST Saturday at Carnoustie's No. 10 . . . Great gesture by UWO's Western News as it 'plays' the original 18 holes of London Hunt & Country Club. The golf course sat on current UWO property from 1924 to 1960. Second-year Health Sciences student Danielle Szela, current member of the Mustangs golf team, is 'playing' the original track while followed by the university newspaper. Her latest 'hole' was the par-4, 380-yard No. 3, which today travels through University Hospital and eventually down toward the North Campus Building. | Ingersoll G&CC (est. 1952) is for sale, after the club's board determined that declining membership, operational deficits and increased competition provided challenges too big to hurdle . . . Sad news that Ontario Golf magazine has just published its final edition.
