LEXUS Expands Commitment in Fourth Year of Canadian Junior Golf Association Partnership

2010 Lexus RX 350 official vehicle of CJGA in 2010

MARKHAM, ON (March 3, 2010) The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) is pleased to announce its national partnership with Lexus for the fourth year running.

Lexus has been devoted to the game of golf over the past three years, and shares the CJGA’s vision of providing on-going learning opportunities in the name of advancing the game. With Lexus’ continued support, junior golfers will continue to experience the popular Lexus Skills Competitions at every event across Canada on both the Junior Linkster and Junior Tour. Support will also be provided at the community level, with many of the 32 Lexus dealers across the country providing on-site event support.

This year, Lexus is expanding their involvement with the CJGA for the benefit of junior golfers and their families through the creation of the Pursuit of Perfection CJGA Manual. This manual will guide juniors in taking the right steps in the game of golf, as a novice right on through to the professional ranks. The manual will include insight from industry leaders, top instructors, elite juniors, professional athletes as well as expert golfer writers. The manual will be available for download through the CJGA website (www.cjga.com) and will become a valuable tool for all families across the country.

“Lexus is pleased to partner with the CJGA for a fourth season as we continue to enhance the experience for all participants,” said Larry Hutchinson, Director of Lexus. “We are committed to delivering more perfect moments to the junior golfers and their families through our expanded partnership.”

“The CJGA is delighted to have Lexus extend their role as a National Partner of the Association” said Earl Fritz, Executive Director of the CJGA. “Their commitment to the game of golf at the grassroots level has been remarkable and we look to provide new opportunities and initiatives for Canada’s developing golfers.”

Lexus will continue as Official Vehicle of the CJGA in 2010, as it will provide the CJGA with vehicles (2010 Lexus RX 350) to be used by travelling tournament staff during the 2010 tournament schedule.
